The OPDX bulletin reports Masa, JH6VLF, and Seiji, JH6RTO/AH0R will be active from Rota Island from 12 to 14 July as KH0/JH6VLF and AH0R. From there they will go to Saipan until 16 September. They will be active on the WARC bands. QSL via their home calls. Seiji has a new address (see below). The 425 DX News bulletin reports that DF2SS will be active from Reunion Island, FR, and Mayotte , FH, during the 28 July to 17 August time frame. Activity will be on 10 through 160, mostly SSB. Jack, VK2GJH/3D2JH, was found on this weekend in the IARU Contest from the Fiji's. He said he hopes to be on Banaba in 5 days, that should end up being Friday. He is traveling with a group called the Banaba Heritage Society. The boat they were going to take broke down. Plans now are to fly on Air Nauru to Tarawa, T30. From there the group will take two commercial catamarans to Banaba. Tensai, ET3BT, reports that he does not have a QSL manager as some DXoutlets have reported. QSL direct only to Tensai, P. O. Box 6128, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Toshi, JA1ELY, reports that JM1YGG will be active from Ogasawara Island from 14 to 16 August. Activity will be on 6 through 40 meters on CW and SSB. Jim Smith, VK9NS, reports he has received the final logs from Mani, VU2JPS. Steve, DJ1US, reports he will be joining Peter, ON6TT/5X1T, and Mats, SM7PKK/5X1Z in Uganda. He will be leaving in about a week or so and will stay through the end of November. He does not have his call as of yet. Steve reminds everyone that this is work however he will be on the air when he gets some free time. Steve likes CW and will be active on 10 through 80 meters. QSL via DF2RG. Rolf, XV7SW, is now back in Hanoi, Vietnam. He was on vacation in his homeland Sweden. He will be at the Swedish Embassy in Hanoi until the middle of September when his term is up. Ray, WH6ASW, reports he will be QRV from Guam as WH6ASW/KH2 starting the middle or end of August until December. ____________________________________________________________________ QSN ____________________________________________________________________ 5X4F - UGANDA - Paul is usually on 14240 between 19:00 and 20:00Z on Saturdays and Sundays. QSL via K3SW. 9K2GS - KUWAIT - Abdul can be found almost every day on or near 14190 around 01:00 to 02:00Z. QSL via WB6JMS. 9N1UD - NEPAL - Charlie was found on 14207 around 01:40 on Sunday in the IARU contest. He was not very loud on the east coast of the US, however he could copy very well. AP50JZB - PAKISTAN - Bob was on 18149 around 15:50Z working Europe and a few north east North American stations. OJ0 - MARKET REEF - Both OJ0/OH1VR and OJ0/N4GN have been very active on 14195, 14024 and 10102 between 21:00 and 02:00Z. On 30 meters they have not been very strong however they hear pretty good. QSL via home calls. XU2FB - KAMPUCHEA - Harv continues to be active on daily on 20 CW between 12:00 and 14:00Z. Check between 14030 and 14040. Roger, G3KMA, has determined after checking maps that Mukai Shima (JR4GPA) does not meet the 200 meter rule. Therefor it counts for AS-007 and not AS-117.
