Afterward he will be visiting some Roman DXers from 19 to 21 July. From 22 to 24 July he will be active as 3A/JH1NBN. Finally on 26 and 27 July he will be on as JH1NBN/TI5. Yuki is moving back to Japan and requests that all QSL for these operations to his JH1NBN callbook address. The boat that Jack, VK2GJH/3D2JH, was taking broke down. He is now back in Suva, Fiji Island. He was headed to Banaba (T33) when the boat had it's problem. It is not clear what Jack will do at this moment. Jun has been assigned VK9LR and Kumiko will be VK9LL. Hiro, JR4PMX, who is also going has not received his call as of yet. As a reminder they will be active on 10 through 80 meters SSB, CW and RTTY. If they get enough requests they will be active on 160 meters. Manfred, CU2/DK2OY, and Wolf, CU2/DL3LAB, are currently active from the Azores and will be on until 15 July. The will begin operating on 160 meters on Friday night. QSL via the bureau is OK for both. Sanyi, HA7VK (ex XU7VK, XU95HA) is currently in Baghdad and has been assigned YI9VK. He is only able to operate from the club station which is only open during the week, which makes it very difficult to operate do to his work schedule at the Hungarian Embassy. His son Gabi, HA7SK, will be visiting and hopes to be on the air as YI9SK. QSL via HA0HW. VR2HK, the HARTS HQ station, will be on this weekend in the IARU Contest from the QTH of VR2KM. Also look for Brett, VR97BG on CW. VS97SAR/VR97SAR made 7,000 QSOs last weekend during the turnover. Laci, HA0HW, reports the 6 Hungarians who went to Rhodes had more than 22,000 QSOs using the 9 HF bands on CW, SSB, RTTY and satellites. The operators are in the process of choosing photos for their QSLs. EP - IRAN - Lots of activity from this country in the last month or so. Yesterday yielded the following stations mostly working Europeans: EP2AG on 14180 at 18:35Z. EP2MHB on 14212 just before 21:00Z. EP2MKP on his usual frequency of 7002 just after 21:00Z and finally EP2SMH on 14175 around 19:40Z. JU4HL - MONGOLIA - They started off their DXpedition yesterday on 14193 mostly working Asians between 13:45 and 16:15Z. QSL via HL1CG. OJ0 - MARKET REEF - These were the guys from Aland Islands (OH0/N4GN) who started yesterday on the rock and had a few more operators join them for preparation in the IARU contest. S21D - BANGLADESH - Was on 14195 around 12:00Z for a few minutes. S79MAD - SEYCHELLES - Paddy was busy on 14003 between 13:15 and 14:00Z. XU2FB - KAMPUCHEA - Harv is still doing OK, given what is going on outside the embassy. Yesterday he seemed to be doing things a little different.
