This special callsign is to celebrate the 28th anniversary of the Libyan Revolution. Operators include: OE1AOA, OE2GRP, OE2KTO, OE3ICS, OE3SGU and OE6DGG. They plan to be active on 2 through 160 meters on CW, SSB and RTTY. They will be active in the All Asian DX SSB Contest and in the IARU Region I VHF Contest. This operation is being sponsored by The ICOM RADIO CLUB of Austria and ICOM Europe. He reminds everyone he will be there to work and this will not be a large scale operation. If he gets on it will be from 9U5CW's station. CY9AA - SAINT PAUL ISLAND - Walt, AJ6T, reports CY9AA was workable (barely) on the west coast of the US on Monday around 07:00Z on 1831. Best time for JA's has been between 10:00 and 13:00Z on 20 meters. VS97BG - HONG KONG - Brett was worked on 21022 by several east coast US stations almost due North around 11:30Z. Fred, K3ZO, also reported hearing some JA's about S4 at this same time. XW1 - LAOS - Conditions have not been very good at all to the US. Check the following frequencies: 3796, 7005, 14030, 14185, 14190, 14195 and 21285.
