He was planing to operate as N2NB/KH7K from May 17th to May 23rd, however he is unable to get permission to fly into Kure and cannot find another way onto the island. Charles, N4BQW, is expected on Kure sometime this month. Lee, N5HG, is currently operating from Dar-es-Salem as 5H3HG. He is working for the US State Department and should be active for about 14 months. He is now able to operate on 15 through 80 meters and plans to put up an antenna on 160 meters within the next week. When he does get on 160 meters he will be running a kilowatt amp. He said he does have a key and likes to operate CW. QSL via WY3V or N5HG. The DX News Letter reports that Eric, FT5ZG, has received an amplifier courtosy of the Clipperton DX Club. QSL via F5RQQ. The OPDX bulletin reports that a group of Italians is planning a trip to Libya to activate 5A1A. They hope to be on 6 meters. Tim, N4GN, reports the BS7H boys have finally arrived in Guangzhou and all the operators are on their way home. He also said "I have received literally hundreds of inquiries regarding the reason for the early shutdown of operations." QSL via DL2RUM. A41LZ - Oman - Murtadra showed up on 18145 around 17:50Z. CX4SS - Uruguay - Al likes to show up on 160 meters 2 or 3 days a week.
