. ===================== *** The Daily DX *** ===================== Volume 1 Number 35 May 6, 1997 Edited by Bernie McClenny, W3UR ----------------------------------------------------------------- BS7H ----------------------------------------------------------------- Tim, N4GN, clarified a few minor points about the recent BS7H, Scarborough Reef, operation. The P.R.C. Ocean Bureau officials were on the boat the entire trip and actually own the boat. They wanted to do some research around the Pearl River delta since they headed back earlier than expected and had some extra time. Tim reported "that weather was not a factor in the early close down." He also went on to say "I just got word that they'll be delayed even further, maybe another 24 hours or so." That would put them in the port of Guangzhou some time today around 15:00Z. ----------------------------------------------------------------- QSN ----------------------------------------------------------------- 6W6/K3IPK - Senegal - Richard showed up today from his African contest station.
