This is not a full-time Dxpedition as he will enjoy sightseeing as well. He plans to operate mostly during his evenings and mornings. He will be active on 10, 15, 20, 40 and 75 meters SSB running 100 watts. Those seeking a QSL are asked to go via JARL bureau. Those who wish to go direct see address below. This is his office address in Katmandu. Toshi, JA1ELY, also reports that a new 10 meter beacon in Fukushima, Japan (QM07 Grid locator) is now on the air on 28188. The antenna is a stacked turnstile dipole at 700 meters above sea level and a power level of 50 watts. The beacon message is as follows: VVV de JA7ZMA JA7ZMA JA7ZMA QM07. EM1HO - Antarctica - Paul is very active from IOTA AN006. Yesterday he was found on 24900 at 14:40Z, 28500 at 15:00Z, 28020 at 15:20Z, 21020 at 16:15Z and 14080 at 16:50Z working RTTY. QSL via I2PJA. ET3BN - Ethiopia - Showed up on 14225 at 16:30Z and then at 18:45Z on 14028. FO5BI - French Polynesia - Was on 20 meters CW between 07:25 and 08:20Z working Europe. FR5DX - Reunion - Herik had his usual strapping loud signal on 18140 around 13:00Z as he worked Europe. HH2ZCG - Haiti - For those trying to work DXCC-YL, she was found on 14249 at 01:35Z. HZ1CCA - Saudi Arabia - Was found calling CQ on 21199 around 11:40Z. JD1BIY - Minami-Torishima - Plans to show up on 14240 after 22:00Z occasionally with JA8FCG and WA2JUN. This is not a net but rather a place where a group of DXers get together to talk. LU2NI - Argentina - The JA's were working him on 3794 around 10:00Z. ND3A/EL2 - Liberia - Rob, who leaves on April 25th, was found first on 21027 just before 17:00Z and then on 14006 around 21:05Z. QSL via ND3A. OD5NJ - Lebanon - Gaby was working Europeans on 1841 just before 22:00Z. S21B - Bangladesh - Was in the mud working Europe on 14209 between 14:00 and 15:00Z. QSL via W4FRU. S92SS - Sao Tome & Principe - Charles, who usually is active over the weekends, came up on 18122 just after 20:30Z. His XYL Leslie, S92YL, is usually active during the week. SV2ASP/A - Mount Athos - Joe, W3ETT, reports that Monk Apollo was found on 14226 between 16:00 and 17:00Z. TZ6TT - Mali - Was found twice on 21300 working Europe. First at 16:20Z and then at 18:45Z. V85HY - Brunei - Hiro likes 30 meters and to call CQ Africa. Yesterday he was found on 10104 between 15:30 and 16:10Z. VR2 - Hong Kong - Everyone in Hong Kong must have had the day off yesterday. The following stations were all active: VR2GY, VR2KF, VR2MM and VS97LC. Remember if you have not worked Hong Kong to do so by July 1, 1997, as it will be deleted as a DXCC country.
