Around 08:00Z he was found working SSB on 7090. Conditions were not very good and he was mostly working stations in Japan. Yuu went back to CW on 7003 around 09:20Z. Just after 10:00Z he did work some east coast US stations. He then QSYed to 3502 at 11:30Z. At 21:20Z he was found on 10105 until 22:00Z when he went to 14023. Today should be his last day on the island before heading home. Let's hope conditions get better. QSL via JA3IG. Ten and Twelve meters opened up between South America and the east coast of the US between 00:00 and 02:30Z yesterday. Tom, K8XP (ex AL7EL), reports that The Date Line DX Association is still looking for a medical doctor who is a DXer and would like to go with them to the Northern Cook Islands. They plan to be on the air from September 20th through the 27th. North Cook was number 85 on the ARRL's most wanted list for 1996. The priority of The Date Line DX Association is to work east coast North America and Europe. Sponsors currently for this operation are HRO, Hy Gain, Icom, Cushcraft, QRO, Patcomm, Battle Creek Group, WX9X, The Radio Works and The 59(9) DX Report. Donations are being solicitated to offset the cost of shipping the equipment to the island.
