They plan to use the old trusty Battle Creek Special and beverages for the 160 meter operation. Angel also said that Bill, W9EVI, who is on the team will operate mainly on the low bands. He also mentioned that Juan, EA9IE, another director plans to be in Dayton. QSL via EA4URE. Peter, ON6TT/5X1T, reports the VK0IR, TO0R and TO0R/MM QSL cards are now in the QSL Manager's (W4FRU) hands. Jonathan, AD4TS, from Richmond, VA reports that he received his VK0IR QSL on April 19th. All three of these QSLs are full color photo cards. If you haven't sent your request in yet, send them in today for all three via W4FRU. Toshi, JA1ELY, reports that Tada, JA1WPX, will be on the air as V73WP, Marshall Islands, from April 25th to April 26th. Next he goes to Western Kiribati as T30WP and will be active from April 27th to May 5th. Then he will return to V73WP on May 5th unitl May 6th. He plans to be active on 10 through 160 meters, SSB and CW. He will be using a TS50 with a 300 watt amplifier. QSL direct to JA1WPX or via the JARL bureau. Ron Wright, ZL1AMO, is now active from Fiji as 3D2RW. His plans are to catch a boat this week to Tarawa, Western Kiribati (T30). If he is able to do that he then plans to catch another boat next week to Banaba Island, T33.
