Chris is on the island of Marion. To date 4,000 QSL cards have been sent out. When asked if Chris, ZS8IR, had any daily schedules, Chris, ZS6EZ, said "No, he has a very busy work schedule and tries to fit in as much operating as he can." Chris, ZS6EZ, also went on to say that as far as he knows a new ham will not be replacing Chris, ZS8IR, when he leaves. So for those still needing Prince Edward & Marion Islands keep trying. Olle, SM3BP, reports that Mike, OE3MZC, and Babsi (XYL), OE3YCB, are planning to be active from the Maldives from April 30th to May 14th. They plan to be active from Kurumati island, IOTA AS013. They plan to use 8Q7MZ and 8Q7BZ respectively. They will be active on 40 through 15 meters. Look for them on 14260. QSL via OE1PYA direct or via bureau. 3A7G is now active celebrating the 7th anniversary of the Grimaldi Dynasty. They will be on both HF and VHF. Anyone who still needs Egypt may want to look for SU0ERA, located in Cairo, on Mondays at 14:30Z on 14220. QSL via SU1ER callbook address only. Also Ezzat, SU1ER, is active most days at 15:00Z on 14066 on Clover mode using LSB. He is also active on MIR and RS12 for those looking for Egypt on satellite. For those needing Midway Island be on the lookout starting today for Yuu-san, JA3IG. He is expected to be signing K1NT/KH4 from now until April 23rd. Last information received said he would be on all bands except 160 meters. He will be looking for Europe between 04:30 and 06:30Z on 40 meters. Yuu has been on many islands through out the Pacific Ocean and parts of Asia.
