Plans include four Kenwood TS570 transceivers, amplifiers, two Cushcraft A3S antennas, one Cushcraft r-7000 vertical and monoband dipoles. Using all of this equipment they plan to have one complete station on SSB, CW and RTTY and to have one backup. They also plan to be active on 50 Mhz. The major sponsors for this operation include Cushcraft and Kenwood Iberica. Operators include DJ9ZB, EA3AOK, EA3BT, EA4BPJ, EA5AD, EA5GRC, EA6BH, EA6WV, EA7BJ, EA7JB, OH0XX, OH1RY and W9EVI. ET3BN - Ethiopia - Started out on 21013 around 17:30Z and then was on 7006 around 19:40Z. EY8CQ - Tajikistan - Nodir was on 14006 from 16:50 to 17:40Z working mostly west coast US stations. FP5EJ - St. Pierre and Miquelon - Was on 10104 around 22:40Z working east coast and mid-west US stations. FR5DX - Reunion - Herik came up today (4/15) on 1829.6 at 02:20Z working US stations very QRS. He stayed in until about 02:47Z. His Sunrise today was at 02:29Z. Northern hemisphere stations who are serious about 160 should continue to look for Southern hemisphere stations now through September as Fall and Winter happen for them.
