He plans to be there for several months and will be active on HF CW, SSB and RTTY. If all goes well Laci will join Sanyi in the later half of July as YI9HW. QSL both stations via HA0HW. Chris, ZS8IR, operating from Prince Edward and Marion Islands, was on 1822 on April 13 from about 03:50 to 04:00Z. He had an OK signal into the west coast of the US. Chris should be active until at least the middle of May. He has once again fixed his 160 meter antenna. He has been active on 160 meters however conditions and high noise levels have dampened results for the last several days. QSL via ZS6EZ. The Date Line DX Association reports they are in the final stages for their planned trip to Northern Cooks. These are some of the same guys who operated from AL7EL/KH9. Operators include N7RO, N4RF, WA4YBV, KI6AN and K8XP (ex AL7EL). Look for them from September 20th to September 27th. They plan to concentrate on the low bands for Europe and east coast North America. They plan to have 3 radios, with one being for RTTY only. They are looking for one more operator, who is a medical doctor. He was working all across the US. 5X1T - Uganda - Peter, ON6TT, can be found on 80 meters often. Try between 3795 and 3800. Europe should try between 20:00 and 22:00Z.
