He was not on very long. Today he showed up as ZL9DX around 01:50Z again on 14260. He started out operating simplex, then began listening up. Ed listened mostly between 14264 and 14266, and sometimes as high as 14270. He was working by numbers around 02:30Z. He was giving everyone 59 and seems to be very diligent at getting the calls right. Today may have been his best day into the east coast of the US. Ed mentioned that the weather was not so great, it was very windy and a strong storm was approaching. When asked about CW, he said later maybe, he still has a lot of SSB work to do. Ed stated that 160 meters will not be possible. He is also having trouble on 40 meters. QSL via W1AF. 9H1AL - Malta - Bert was found on 10101 around 23:10Z. He also operates on 17 meters CW between 15:00 and 16:00Z. 9M6TPR - East Malaysia - Paul and Charlotte have resurfaced from scuba diving on 7003 from 10:50 to 13:30Z. They were on 14025 from just before 14:00 to 17:00Z. They are currently on Sipadan Island (OC133). Today should be their last day on the air before heading back home.
