He was signing ZL9DX on 14262. The best place to find him maybe 14260 or 21300. Operating times depend on the work load and weather conditions. Ed is on a scientific expedition and radio is secondary. Some CW is planned. Ed should be on the island for 5 days. QSL via Ed Hartz, PO Box 9, Te Anau, New Zealand or the 1997 call book address. Jim Smith, VK9NS reports he has received his Indian license, VU2JBS. Jim also reports that Mani, VU2JPS, and his XYL Mala, VU2MTC, have received a rig from the Heard DX Association. Mani and Mala are located in the Andamans. Mark, 9X4WW/ON4WW, is home in Belgium visiting his family. He plans to be back in Rwanda on April 13th. He hopes to take some ITU information back to Rwanda which will allow him to operate on all bands. Mark has to pay for each frequency he operates on. He currently has paid for 1827.5 and 14118. He has applied for 7009/7065 and 3509/3799. Check 10101 between 21:00 and 22:30Z. He should be on until the 3rd. So far he seems to like 30 and 40 meters the most. QSL via DL6UAA. 4U1WB - United States - World Bank - This station is active just about daily on 20 meters SSB between 22:00 and 00:00Z. 8Q7SM - Maldives - Seth, SM0AGD, was found yesterday on 14027 around 16:30Z working Europeans. BV9AYA - Taiwan - This station is active from Pescadores, IOTA AS103. He was on 18120 from 09:00 to 09:30Z working Europe and Japan. He was also on 14195 around 12:00Z working east coast US stations. From 13:30 to 14:30Z he was on 3797 working west coast US stations. QSL via BV2KI. C21 - Nauru - C21DJ, C21NJ, C21RK, C21TT - all four of these stations were on 20 meters SSB working Europe and Japan between 10:00 and 12:00Z. Try 14260 if you need Nauru. C56/DK3FW - The Gambia - Dieter continues to be very active on CW. For those still looking for him on 160 meters try 00Z on 1832. Sometimes he runs split up 1 and other times he operates simplex. HC4MZ/8 - Galapagos - This is the second day in a row for this station on 18135 between 23:00 and 00:00Z. V85HY - Brunei - Hiro was active yesterday on 7009 just before 18:00Z working Europeans. VQ9VK - Chagos - Likes 18071 most days from 10:00 to 13:00Z. QSL via AA1OJ.
