He expects to return in June or July 1997. The best times to find him seem to be 01:00 to 13:00Z usually on CW. His favorite frequencies are 7012, 10104 and 14028. Take does not have any antennas for 160 meters. QSL via JA8CJY. The OPDX DX bulletin reports that Bill, VK6ZX, and his XYL Diane, VK6KYL, will be active as 6O0X and 6O0YL for a few hours April 8th through April 10th. They expect to be on 20 and 40 meters. QSL via F2VX. A92GD - Bahrain - Bob continues to be on 10140 between 21 and 23Z. QSL via K1SE. D2EV - Angola - Was somewhat active on 20 meters this weekend in the WPX SSB contest. QSL via DL3KBQ. HC4MZ/8 - Galapagos Islands - Was found hiding out on 18134 on Sunday working all across the US. JY5HO - Jordan - One of the only Nationals who does operate on CW. QRS because he is new. KH3/KA3HMS - Johnston Island - Bill was found on 15 meters working west coast and midwest US stations in the WPX contest. OD5NJ - Lebanon - Gaby was working Europeans on 160 meters in the WPX contest on Sunday around 00 to 01Z. S02R - Western Sahara - This station was on 10 - 160 meters in the WPX SSB contest. They did manage to work some east coast US stations on both 80 and 160 meters. QSL via EA2JG. S0A - Western Sahara - This was the CW station which also seemed to be more active than the SSB station. The LYNX DX Group will be leaving sometime today. QSL via EA2JG. TR - Gabon - TR8XX and TR8BAR were both active on 20 meters in the WPX contest. TS8A - Tunisia - Hrane, YT1AD was very active with this special callsign on all bands. He was heard several times on 80 meters below 3750 and was not listening up. QSL via YT1AD. V85HY - Brunei - Hiro was found on 10101 at 14:00Z on Sunday working W6's and W7's. VK6FOC - Australia - Was on 10103 at 14:00Z on Sunday looking especially for other FOC'ers. YC8TZR - Indonesia - Was found on 40 meters as usual in the WPX SSB contest with a nice signal. Most of the time he operates CW on 40 meters around 11-13Z. YQ0YAF - Easter Island - Was found on 21030 on Saturday at 22:00Z avoiding the WPX contest. ZS8IR - Prince Edward and Marion Island - Chris was found on Sunday around 21:00Z working Europeans on 7017. Chris is still concentrating on 1822 around 03:30 to 04:00Z. In the last few weeks he has had much better luck with midwest and west coast stations in the US. After 04:00Z try 3515 or 10115. Chris is scheduled to leave sometime in May or June.
