He reported working 600 some QSOs. Paul said "We had a good opening into the US at 13:00Z on 20 meters, working W1NG at 13:01Z and continuing for several hours." Paul and Charlotte should be on the air signing 9M6TPR and 9M6TCR from Spratly by the time you read this. He also mentioned that 13:00Z will be "the opening to watch for if you need Spratly." If your looking for them on 40 meters you may want to try 10:00 to 13:00Z. Paul also said for US stations to look for them on 20 meters at 00:00Z. JA3IG, Yuu-san is currently on his way to Vietnam and hopes to be on the air as 3W8IG or something close to that. Next month Yuu-san will be on Midway Island signing K1NT/KH4 from April 16 th to April 23 rd. He says he will be watching for Europe on 40 meters from 04:30Z to 06:30Z. It now looks as if he will be on all bands except 160 meters. The ARRL 1996 DXCC Yearbook is out. The DXpedition of the Year : Kermadec Islands - by ZL8RI. He started out on 7001 at 22:00Z. He should be on until April 3rd. QSL via DL6UAA. 3W5FM - Vietnam - Today Nick decided to try some CW on 14009 between 14:20 and 1545Z. 3W5RS - Vietnam - Was on at the same time as Nick, 3W5FM just 3 kcs up. 9X4WW - Rwanda - Mark is still using his old frequencies. He was on 14118 from 17:00 to 18:15. He did work a few stations on CW. QSL via ON5NT. A41LZ - Oman - Started on 14180 then moved to 14190, from 11:20 to 14:00Z. AP2HA - Pakistan - Here's a nice one on CW, 14003 from 13:15 to 14:45Z E21CJN - Thailand - Tham is active on 20 and 40 meters, both SSB and CW. His choice frequency seems to be 14021 between 12:30 and 13:30Z. QSL via W3PP (ex K3WUW). FR5FZ - Reunion - 14120 is a great place to listen for Reunion Island stations after 16:00Z. FT5ZG - Amsterdam & St. Paul - Worked a few Europeans on 14245 starting at 17:00Z. HF0POL - South Shetlands - He must have had the day off. He was on from 16:00 to 21:30Z.
